VISIT TO BLENHEIM

Tlie Governor-General (Viscount Jellicoe), Lady Jellicoe. and members ot their family arrived at Blenheim this afleinoon and received an enthusiastic welcome from a larfje gathering of citizens and school children. Ibe ait address of welcome, and His Excel lency in replying paid a tribute to the glorious weather of Marlborough, and 11 Golden agricultural scenes witnessed on the journey from Pict on. U reminded him, he said, of similar seente in the Old Country, which were only eqtiaLed by the signs of happiness and the faces of those around him. Lord .Ten-moe also paid a tribute to the soldiem lv tearing of the guard of ho, ’ oul ; regimental band. Hearty cheers for 1 heir Excellencies concluded the function. . In /the evening Their Excellencies will hold an informal reception at the Town. Hall.
