A wirelsss message from Moscow /states that M. Tchitcherin has addressed a sharp Note of protest against the detention of twenty-five thousand Russian prisoners. chiefly in France, and some in North Africa. The Note asserts that the .Soviet has fulfilled its obligations for tho repatriation of French citizens in Russia, and adds: “If Franco does not comply, the Soviet will take suitable steps.”—Aus.-N.Z.
