FINE FOR CARRYING PISTOL

AUCKLAND LICENSEE THREATENED.

At the Police Court, Mr. J. AV. Poynton, S.M., fined John Fairley sC2S or two months in gaol for carrying a pistol without a license, and with refusing to leave an hotel when requested to do so. Fairley .and another man were refused they being already under its influence. When they were got out into the street they threatened tie licensee. Fairley drew a pistol, which he flourished.
