SWIMMING

The Wellington Swimming Centre has granted to the Maranui Life-Saving Club the conduct of the Wellington schoolboys and schoolgirls' provincial championships, which will be raced at the club’s annual carnival at the Tepid Baths to-day at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. The programme also includes a variety of club and inter-club swimming, life-saving, and diving events, and as all the local champions -are competing. a good entertainment should lie provided.
