Republicans attacked a train at Headford Junction, Kerry, killing an officer and six men of the Royal Fusiliers, and wounding twelve. They also killed a civilian and wounded two. The fight lasted for 59 minutes.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. (Rec. March 22, 9.40 p.m.) London, March 22.

Tho attack at Headford Junction occurred in a cutting. The troops, numbering thirty, were detrained, suffering severely. In the House of Commons, Sir Hamar Greenwood announced that the total week-end casualties in Ireland were: Ten military aud five police killed, eleven military and five police wounded, seven rebels killed and seven wounded.
