RED DEER STAGS, having antlers with not less than ten points, may be taken or killed in the portions of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society’s district, open to Deer Shooters, 1 from MARCH 24 to MAY 31, 1921, both days included. For the Wwrarapa South and Featherston Reserves, on payment of a fee of two pounds (£2) a License to take four (4) stags’ heads and six (6) hinds may be obtained from tho Post Office at Wellington, Mastorton, Carterton, Greytown, Featherston, and Martinborough. For the area containing the blocks formerly known as Hutt and Featherston (Wainui), Horowhenua, and Hutt Counties (Paraparaumu), Akitio, Tarawa Forest Reserve, Taihape, and Tauherenikau, on payment of a fee of two pounds (.£2) a License to take two (2) stags’ heads and two (2) hinds may be obtained from the Post Office at Wellington, Masterton, Carterton, Featherston, Greytown, Eketahuna, Pahintua, Makuri, Pongaroa, Palmerston North, Paraparaumu, Otaki, Taihape, Mangaweka, Shannon, and Lower Hutt. Details of the portions of the Reserves open to Deer Shooters —and of the portions closed to the same—are to be found endorsed on Licenses or can be obtained at the office of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, No. 205, Lambton Quay, Wellington.
