A short sitting of the Magistrate’s Court was held on .Saturday, Mr. F. K. Hunt presiding. Maud Grant, on charges of drunkenness and loitering for an immoral purpose, was fined ss. on the first charge and ordered to come up for sentence when called on, on the second. Deemed to be an idle and disorderly person, John Robert S. Cuthbertson was sentenced to two months' imprisonment. He appeared to answer a seventh charge of drunkenness. For drunkenness, breaking his prohibition order, and using obscene language, Henry Edwards was flnod A 3 10s.
