LONDON-PARIS TOURNAMENT,

The London-Paris inter-city tennis tournament was played at Dulwich. Paris won fourteen matches against six and secured tho rubber, seven games remaining to be played. The average age of the Frenchmen was 22, and that of the Londoners 45. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
CANADA MAY WITHDRAW FROM TJVIS CUP. (Rec. March 20, 11.5 p.m.) New York, March 19.
The "New York Sun” prints the following Montreal dispatch :—“lt is believed in tennis circles here that the results of the Davis Cup draw will perhaps cause tiie Canadian entry to be scratched. It is thought that in competing in the first round with tho Australasians the Canadians will not have a chance, and the Canadian Tennis Association is not anxious to lose prestige when efforts are being made to build up Canada’s position in international tennis.” —Aus.-N.Z.
