William James Jones, shipowner, and Rees, a clerk, have 'been convicted of a conspiracy to invite Captain Plummer to wreck the steamer Dorothy Talbot. Jones was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment and Rees to nine months Ihe charge regarding the steamer Glendalough was withdrawn.—Aus.-N.Z.
