RAILWAYMAN’S SON KILLED

Claude Gruppelaar, aged five, son of n railwav surfaceman, was killed by the south "express at Templeton. He was walking on the line with his little sister, going to meet his father, and was struck bv the cowcatcher, being picked up dead. Neither of lhe children heard the approaching express. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was relumed, no blame being attachable to anyone.
