FINANCE BILL TO BE CONSIDERED TO-DA Y.
The House of Representatives completed all its work except the Finance Bill on Saturday. It was ready to take the sen ond reading of the Finance Bill at 4 p.m., but the Prime .Minister was unable to be present, and an adjournment was taken until 11 a.m. to-dav. Mr. Massey is likely to make an speech on the second reading of the BH' The session may end to-day, but there is no certainty on that point Members may not Im in any great hurry now that they have failed to get away before the week-end. The Finance Bill will provide an opportunity for general discussion, and the Government has some new clauses to add to the Bill.
