DENNY MURPHY DISQUALIFIED.

In the Theatre Royal last evening in the professional fifteen-round bout, Bill Senior, of Westport (10st. 101 b.), v. Denny Murphy, the New Zealand welter champion, of Wellington (lOst. 61b.), Murphy went down in the second round find claimed a foul, taking the count After he had been medically examined by two doctors, the decision was awarded to Senior. At a meeting of the committee of the Westport Boxing Association, qtter a further medical report, the committee decided to allow Murphy no part of the purse or expenses, and to disqualify him for two years.
