KING'S THEATRE. A story of dramatic power, splendidly produced, and noteworthyb-ecause of the gowns worn by the leading artist, describes the photo-play “Sex,” which is being screened at the King’s Theatre. The characterisation given by the clever actress, Louise Glaum, is full of meixt. Miss Carrie Lanceley and her Melodv Maids contribute new numbers. EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. Mae Murray is reappearing at Everybody’s Theatre as the principal in “The A.B.C, of Love,” a picture that may be termed a dramatic rofnance. Miss Murray portrays the role of an orphan as innocent, as ignorant, as she is beautiful. In a fine supporting programme the latest Path? Gazette is shown, as well as a' Post Nature scenic EMPRESS THEATRE. All the ingredients which go to make an acceptable drama are contained in the photoplay, “The Woman Wins,” which is being screened in the Empress Theatre this week. The picture has much to hold the interest. One of -its most dramatic episodes is where an innocent man is sent to penal servitude through a “frame-up,” but eventually the great wrong is righted. Other acceptable offerings are included in the programme. Theatre-goers will be glad to learn that the comedy company headed bv Miss Marie Tempest and Mr. Graham Browne is to appear aga’n in Wellington from April 6 to 18, when a repertoire of comedies of the highest order will be presented. The company will appear in Christchurch during the Easter holidays
J. and N. Tait's pantomime, “Sinbad the Sailor.” will commence a New Zealand tour at Auckland on Mednesdav of this week. 1 '
