WELLINGTON AUTOMOBILE CLUB.
The committee of the Wellington Automobile Club met on Thursday, when there were present-.-Messrs C. M. Banks, J. J. Williamson. W. 8. Wilson, L, R. Partridge. and W. Mantell. An nnology for absence was received from Mr. W. Pryor, and two months leave of absence was given him. Messrs. S. A. Lor.guet and A. MacKenzie were elected members. , ng The secretary reported that various oomplaints had been received from hers with regard to Sunday picnic, parties obstructing motor-cars passing-in different parts of the district, and that owing to one member being unable to appear to give evidence he had. at the ’ request, written to the firm m pointing out that the firm .were probably not aware' that their drivers were so deficient in courtesy as not to conform with the rules of the road.
