London, March 12. With the object of providing a safe seat for Sir A. Griffitli-Boscawen, who -was defeated by the Labour candidate at Dudley when seeking re-election as Minister of Agriculture, Lieut.-Colonel Dennis Boles has resigned the Taunton seat. Mr. James Lunnon, organising secretary of the Agricultural Workers' Union, will oppose Sir Griffith-Boscawen.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
