FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present Indications are for variable breexes, moderate to strong south-east to north-east prevailing northwards of East Coast and Kawhia. and northerlies elejewhere. Expect dull and misty wither generally, unsettled at times, with scattered rainfall. Barometer unsteady—falling temporarily. Very warm, dull, and humid conditions have prevailed. Westerly breezes have predominated, but the winds have been generally light and variable. The barometer has proved unsteady in the south. D. C. BATES. Director. Meteorological Office.
