Mrs Ralph Smith, the member for Vancouver in the British Columbia Legislature, will, says an exchange, be given Cabinet po.si.tlon, probably as Minister >of Education. The appointment is expected to meet with general approval, and it is believed to bo the first time in any country that a woman has been given such an appointment.
