FREEZING DISPUTE SETTLED
AVAIPAOA AVORKS TO RESUME. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Gisborne, February 22. The AVaipaoa freezing wefts dispute, caused by the go-slow policy of the mutton butchers, which commenced last Thursday, was setltled to-day at a conference between the directors of the companv and the men’s representatives. It was'decided Io grant the mon an increase cf Is. Gd. per hundred, making the present scale £2 ss. 4d. Work will resume to-morrow morning. The dispute affected over 200 mon.
