At the Federal Arbitration Court, the case of the Seamen’s Union against the Commonwealth Shipowners’ Federation was mentionrel. After discussing job control and the existence of a dispute inter alm, Mr. Justice Powers said he would ask the Full High Gourt to determine whether a dispute existed within the meaning of the Act. In the course of discussion, Mr. T. Walsh (secretary of the Seamen’s Union) stated that the seamen were willing to waive the right to exercise job control and leave the question of manning the bhipe to tha Court.—Frees Aim,
