Subsequently armed, disguised men removed Mohilly and shot him dead outside the building. The man found in the Irish mail train at Willeeden, who bad been shadowed from Ireland, was a brother of tho ex-Sheriff of Cork. He received a threatening letter some time ago, accusing him of espionage. During the -week-end there were a dozen incendiary fires on the south side of Manchester. ~ Damage estimated at .€30,000 was done to stockyards in Cheshire. The gang that shot Connell visited a neighbour named Sweetnam and enticed him outside, telling his wife he would soon return. Sweetnam was shot, and rushed into the kitchen and collapsed. The gang followed and shot Sweetnam dead. Tho same reason was given as in Connell’s case. Some men fired with revolvers on auxiliaries motoring in Dublin..
