THE MAYORALTY
A CONFERENCE PROPOSED. The supporters of Councillor C. B. Norwood for the Mayoralty, who met yesterday morning, believe that it will be folly if all the candidates for the Mayoralty already announced go to the poll. It was resolved to call a conference of the committees of Councillors L. M'Kenzie and R. A. Wright, and the Hon. T. W. Hislop before they commit themselves to a campaign, to decide which of the candidates should be nominated for the seat.
