-4 young man admits their use. By Telegraph—Press Association. Rotorua, February 18. In the Alagistrate’s Court to-day. a young man, Sidney John B. Adams, pleaded guilty to four charges of obtaining money and goods amounting to J 125 ‘by means of valueless cheques. lie was committed to tjie Supreme Court at Auckland for sentence. On a charge of stealing a cheque book at To Arolia. he was remanded to Hamilton, and on a charge of obtaining X 8 and a watch value «£2 '.if Auckland he was remanded lo Auckland. Other-charges are pending against accused, who arrived from England six months ago.
