NFW PLYMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL SUCCESSES.

Ey Telegraph —Press Association. New Plymouth, February 18. At the New Plymouth High School today the medals won by’ shooting teams in "various competitions were presented by Brigadier-General Alelville, commander of the Central District. Last year this school's teams secured third place for the Empire in. the senior and junior divisions of die Imperial Challenge Shield matches. In the competition among Now Zealand schools for the challenge shield, donated by the “Weekly Press” Co., the Now Plymouth School won the shield in 1920 for the third year in succession. In presenting both the Empire medals and t’he "Weekly Press” challenge medals. Brigadier-General Alelville, emphasised the excellence of rillo shooting ns a sport, apart from its military valuewhich was also proved in 1914 by the "Contfemptiblcs.” In regard to the Imperial competition, he. remarked that if it had not been for the New Plymouth High School the New Zealann teams would not have made a very good showing, and as commander for the district, he was pleased to note their SUOCCB9,
