At tho Commercial Travellers’ Conference tho general secretary submitted details of a scheme of sickness and accident insurance as a result of investigations made by him since March, 1920. Ho proposed that tho scheme should come into operation on June 1, 1921, provided .W0 proposals were received, and that the benefits be the' same as under a policy of the United Commercial Traveller's’ Association of Australia. The premium would be £2 12s. 6d., and only association members would bo insured. The confert once adopted tho scheme. The following remits wore carried "That in view of the fact that where No-License obtains accommodation suffers, this conference asks the committee of each association to use its utmost endeavours to secure continuance in the interests of the man on tho road.” "That this conference requests the committee of each association to 'be guided in the selection of club members by the classes declared ineligible by the Australasian associations.”
