New York, February 16. Caruso is seriously ill, and the Last Sacraments wore administered. A later bulletin states that ho rallied from a very serious relapse. His condition still is unsatisfactory, but somewhat improved. Caruso h<as been ailing since breaking a. small blood-vessel ii* tho throat some time ago. This was followed by an attack of pleurisy. Also, he fell down tho stairs of a dressing-room in the Now York Opera House, and his heart became affected.—Reuter.
