NEW WORLD’S RECORDS. Hobart, February 15. Langer broke the world’s record for 300 yards and 300 metres, the times being 3min. 29 1-ssec. and 3min. 48 3-ssec. Kealoha broke the Australian record for the hundred yards in his heat for the Australian championship in 55 4-ssec. The final resulted: Kealoha, 1; Stedman, 2; Beaurepaire, 3. Time, 56seo. —Press Assn. OFFICIAL RECOGNITION OF TIMES DOUBTFUL. (Rec. February 15, 11.40 p.m.) Hobart, February 15.

The starter at last night’s swimming elates that he could not certify to having started Langer at the proper time in his attempt to lower the 300 yards and 300 metres world’s record. It is unlikely, therefore, that Langar’s times will be officially recognised.—Press Assn.
