CARPENTERS’ WAGES
CONFERENCE TO-MORROW NIGHT.
The conference between the representatives of the Master Builders and Contractors’ Association and t'he Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and Joiners to discuss the situation created by the employees’ (declared intention to reduce the wages of carpenters from Bs. to 2s. 9d. per hour, will take place at ■the Employers’ Association rooms, Customhouse ‘Quay, at 7.30 to-morrow night. The dispute before the Conciliation Council, in Which the union js claiming an hourly wage of 35., with a 40hour week, will be resumed asxt Tuesday.
