ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
A fairly well attended meeting of the Petone Association Football Club was held on Monday, Mr. J. M'Eeod in the chair. The annual report and balancesheet were read and adopted, the balancesheet showing a credit tedince of -£2 15s. 6d., and the sum of £5 17s. 6d. in subscriptions sr.ill outstanding. The following officers were’ elected: —Patron, Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P.; president, Mr. Burd; vice-presidents, Messrs. Jenness, Benny, Leadbefiter, Hancock, Whetton, Bucknail. Jewett. Kerr, Gosne.v, Green, J. W. M’Ewan, R. Clark; club captain, Mr. Goodell; auditor, Mr. B. Burd; secretary, Mr. G. Parker; treasurer, Mr. J, M’Leod; delegates to W.F.A., Mesas. Parker, and Goodall; Management Committee, Messrs. M'Dougall, M’Leod, It. Pn-wson, Allan, J. Devin;; delegates to council, Messrs. J. M’Leod and Goodall.
