FINAL GAMES PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES Ths Ngaroma and municipal lawns, I 1 ©done, were utilised to the fullest extent on Saturday afternoon, when the croquet tournament was brought to the closing scenes by the prizes being presented by" Mr. J. K Luke, president. The weather was all that could bo desired, and some good games were played in the finals. The Hutt Club, represented by Mesdames Ayson,and Bock, was victorious in the club pairs, and holds for tho present season Mrs. J. P. Luke's rose bowl. Mrs. 'Tregear and NortonSmith, Ngaroma Club, being the run nerd-up. Mrs. Lon M'Kenzie's silver ■ cup was won for the Hawera Club by Mrs. Jarrie, who has played consistently throughout the tournament, having only lost one single in all her matches. In the open championship the semifinal only was reached on Saturday, and the final is to be played, probably on Tuesday, on the Ngaroma lawns. Additional 'results are as followOTEN HANDICAP SINGLES. The Petone Croo.uet Club was also the recipient of a trophy presented by a number of the visitors who had been entertained by the club during the tournament.
