AGREEMENT. BETWEEN ITALY AND CZECHO-SLOVAKIA.
London, February 11. The Foreign Minister of Czccho-Slo-vakia has reached an agreement with Italv which is aimed nt the prevention of the restoration of the Hapsburgs and the formation of a Danube bblc W Au S " view to a revival of the old order.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. FA recent message from Budapest stated: Hapsburg partisians-favour the return of the ex-Emperor Karl to Buda nest a= King. The announcement evoked rre-affinuation by the Bntish High Commissioner at Budapest that the Allies firmly opposed the return of the Hapburi’s to the Hungarian throne, since Hun-arv has always been the stronghold of the selfish ambitions of the Hapsburgs. Meanwhile serious politicians in Hungaij declare that Hungary s very existence demands a discontinuance- of the agitation on the throne question.]
