NAVAL DISARMAMENT
DECLARATION BY UNITED STATES SENATOR. (Rec. February 13, 5.5 p.m.) Washington, February 11. I Senator Borah, in a speech in the Senate, declared that unless a naval disarmament agreement was reached amongst the Great Powers, the present situation would inevitably lead to war. "Either we must by Act stop or reduce, the armameiit competition,” he Oaid, "or the United States must have the strongest navy in the world.” —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
