WAIRARAPA PROSECUTIONS. Bv Telectranh.-Snecial Cqrresnondent. Mast?rton. .Tanunrv 21. Several licensing cases were heard in the Masterton Police Court before Mr. S. L. P. Free, S.M. John Wallace and Arthur Chambers were each charged with having obtained liquor during the currency of a prn.ilbitlon orctfr: Both accused were fined 40a. and costs. Jeremiah Cuff appeared to answer charges of keeping liquor for sale within a no-license area, and with bringing liquor into a no-license area without notifying the Clerk of the Court, as required by the Act. The first charge was dismissed, but on tho second, accused was fined J3lO and costs.
