HOLIDAY Excursion Tickets, available for return until February IS, 1921, will be obtainable as under (except where ordinary fares are less):— ON JANUARY 19: From Palmerston North, Paekakariki and intermediate stations to Wellington (Thorndon). From Woodville, Greytown, Cross Creek and intermediate stations to Wellington (Lambton). ON JANUARY 20: From Masterton, Greytown, Cross Creek and intermediate stations to Wellington (Lambton) and Trentham. ON JANUARY 21 AND 22: From Wanganui. Waiouru, Foxton, Wellington (Thorndon). Dannevirke. Greytown, Wellington (Lambton), and intermediate stations to Wellington (Lambton), Grey town, Dannevirke, Wellington (Thorndon), Foxton, W’ajouru, Wanganui, and intermediate stations, or vice versa. ON JANUARY 24: From Masterton, Greytown, Cross Creek and intermediate stations to Wellington (Lambton) and Trentham by the_ trains leaving Masterton at 7.15 and 8,45 a.m., /and Grey.towjn at 7.50 and 9.18 a.m. ' Holiday Excursion Tickets issued for nee on January 21 and 22 will be available for break of journey at any station at which the train is timed to stop after 50 miles from issuing station. Holiday ,Excursion Tickets issued to Wellington (Lambton) on January 19, 20, and 24, will be available for break of journey at Trentham. Holiday Excursion feres do not include admission to Trentham Racecourse. Cheap Return Tickets available for return up to and including January 24, will, except where ordinary fores are less, be obtainable on January 22 as follow: — From Wellington (Lambton), Belmont, end intermediate stations to Belmont, Upper Hutt, and intermediate stations: First Class, 3s. 6d.; Second Class, 2s. 6d., or vice versa. From Wellington (Thorndon). Johnsonville, and intermediate stations to Tawo Flat, Paekakariki, and intermediate stations, or vice versa. (Saturday and Sunday fares, see Poster.) These tickets will not be available by the Wellington-Auckland Express trains, the Wellington-New Plymouth and Wel-lington-Napier Mail trains, either on the outward or return journey. SPECIAL RACE TICKETS TO TRENTHAM. ON THURSDAY, SATURDAY. AND MONDAY, JANUARY 20. 22, and 24, special return tickets to Trentham, including admission to Racecourse, and available for use on day of issue only, will be obtainable at Wellington (Lambton) Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone and Lower Hutt. Fares: Carriages, 6s. 6d.; Seated Wagons, 4s. 6d. Season tickets (Press Reporters tickets excepted). Tourist tickets, and Free Passes will not be available by the Race trains. The only trains by which Race Tickets will be issued will be the special race trains the 8.50 a.m. (Saturday) Welling-ton-Upper Hutt train (from Kaiwarra. Ngahauranga Petone, and Lower Hutt . only), the 9.5 a.m. (Thursday and Monday), Wellington-Upper Hutt train (from Kaiwarra, Ngahaurange, Petone and , Lower Hutt only), the 9.5 a.m. (Saturday) Wel-lington-Woodville train (from Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga. Petone and Lower Hutt only), the 9.25 a.m. (Thursday and Mon. dav), Wellington-Woodville train (from Kaiwarra. Ngahauranga, Petone and lower Hutt only), the 12.10 p.m. (Thursday and Monday), the 12.15 p.m* (Saturday). and 1.20 p.m. Wellington-Upper Hutt trains. ' I The special Race trains will take passengers for and from Trentham only, and only Race tickets will be available by these trains. Tickets for use on January 22 may be obtained at Wellington (both stations) on January 21, between the hours of 9.0 a.m. and 6.0 p.m. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. WELLINGTON-PALMERSTON NORTH JANUARY 22. The following ordinary trains will NOT run: — 5.50 a.m. Paekakariki-Wellington. 7.10, 7.52 a.m., 3.25 p.m. Johnsonville-Welling-ton, 6.47 a.m., 2.45 p.m., 5.25 p.m., Wel-lington-Johnsonville 12.15 p.m. Welling-ton-Paekakariki. The train which usually leaves Johnsonville at 8.20 a.m. for Wellington will leave Jolinsonvillee at 8.18 a.m.. Khandallah 8.25, Ngaip 8.33 a.m., Wellington arr. 8.42 a.m. The usual 10.5 a.m. Johnsonville-Wel-lington train will be delayed to leave Johnsonville at 10.22 a.m. The usual 6.8 p.m. Paekakariki-Wel-ington train will leave Paekakariki 6.20 p.m., Plimmerton 6.45 p.m., Johnsonville 7.35 p.m., Khandallah 7.42 p.m., Ngaio, 7.49 p.m., Wellington arrive 7.58 p.m. Special trains will run as below: — FOR JOHNSONVILLE.—WeIIington dep. 5.10 p.m. Return train leaves Johnsonville for Wellington 5.59 n.m. JANUARY 22—At frequent intervals from 9.30 a.m. until 10.40 a.m. Additional trains leave Wellington at 12.15 and 1.20 p.m. Return trains leaving Trentham for Wellington:— ON THURSDAY AND MONDAY, JANUARY 20 and 24—At intervals from 4.50 until 5.31 n.m. Additional trains leave Trentham at 4.24 and 5.58 p.m. ON SATURDAY, JANUARY 22—At intervals from 4.50 to 5.43 p.m. Additional trains leave Trentham at 4.24 and 5.58 p.m. For times of trains from Kaiwarra, Ngahauranga, Petone, and Lower Hutt see handbills. MASTERTON-TRENTHAM-WELLINGTON. JANUARY 20, 22, AND 24. Trains, for Trentham will leave Masterton at 7.15. 8.45 a.m.. Carterton 7.46, 9.10, Greytown 7.50, *9.JB, Featherston 8.28, 9.48. Kaitoke 10.15, 11.28, Trentham arr. 10.51 a.m.. 12.0 noon. Return trains leave Trentham 5.22. 6.41 pjn., Masterton arr. 8.50, 9.59 p.m. These trains will stop where required for passengers. The train which usually leaves Masterton at 7.15 a.m. for Wellington will not run beyond Trentham. A special passenger train for Wellington will leave Masterton at 8.45 a.m., Carterton 9.10* Greytown 9.18, Featherston 9.48. Kaitoke 11.28, Tipper Hutt 11.55 a.m., Wellington arr. 12.54 p.m. This train will stop where required for passengers. The usual 4.25 p.m. Wellington-Master-ton train will be delayed to leave Wellington at 5.45 p.m.. Masterton arr. 9.59 p.m. This train will make usual stops and, will, in addition, also stop at Kaiwarv'a, Ngahauranga, Petone, and Trentham for passengers. The Maidstone Park Picnic Grounds at Upper Hutt will be open to the general public holding railway tickets to Upper Hutt on January 22. Admission : Adults. 3d.: Children, half-price.
