The appeal of Colonel Malone against the sentence of six months’ imprisonment for sedition ha's been dismissed, with costs. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. [ln consequence of a violent speech he had made in the- Albert Hall, Colonel Malone was arrested under the Defence of the Realm Act and tried on a charge of sedition. He was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment in the second division, and against the sentence notice of appeal was given. Colonel Malone was ario hound over to be of good behavioufor a year in his own recognisance of 282000, and two sureties of .61000 each.]
