KING’S THEATRE. The current programme at the King's Theatre continues to prove attractive to photo-play devotees. 'Varied with brilliant music by the King’s Orchestra, and interspersed with the classical vocal numbers of Roberto Romani, the pictorial portion is strengthened and an added interest is given to the films. The leading picture, "The Woman Gives.” is exceedingly well done, and Norma Talmadge. in the principal role, gives a very fine character study. In "Schooldays, ’ the best of the supporting pictures, Larrv Semon and his company of players are resnonsrble for much fun. There will be a full orchestral matinee this afternoon. EMPRESS THEATRE. ' "A Master Stroke.” the special attraction at the Empress Theatre, features Earle Williams, who plays the part ot Yale Durant, who. after thirty years ot idleness and squandering, began life anew. The thought of a girl saved his life and it gave ’him a new start, and caused him to plunge into Wall Street and put over "a master stroke.” If 11 a feature filled with comedy and suspense. There are enjoyable supports. EVERYBODY’S THEATRE. > "The Brand of Lopez,” which is showing at Everybody’s Theatre, is a melodrama with plenty of rapid action, in which Sessue Hayakawa has the leading role. He plays the part of a Spanish matador who later became an outlaw. Tn addition Larry-Semon is seen in “Schooldays,” and glimpses of ’ the Olympic Games at Antwerp are given. FASHION PLATE DANDIES. The current programme of the Dandies has been selected obviously with a view to getting as many laughs as possible into the couple of hours during which the company occupies the boards at the Concert Chamber. The success of the Dandies as entertainers has been attested ever since their season commenced 1" the liberal applause that each audience has bestowed upon them. Mr, George Titchener. the principal comedian, gets all the fun that is to be got out of the many numbers with which lie w entrusted. Other very clever performers are Miss Rosa Walton, Miss Lenore Grahim. and Mr. Renn Millar Smart burlesque work is a feature of all the Dandies’ programmes.
