AUCKLAND’S GAS SUPPLY

FULL PRESSURE RESUMED

By Telegraph —Press Association, Auckland, January 17. Full gas pressure was resumed to-day. after eight days of reduced pressure, the company’s supply of coal having been replenished.

The last link with the great Duke ct Wellington was broken last Novembi. bv the death in London of Dr. Henij Frederick Holland, of Gadalming, at the ace of 91. He was summoned to Aspley House in 1851 to attend the Iron Duke ” for an attack of bronchial pneumonia. Enjoying good health during his long life, Dr. Holland, at the age of 90. competed in a flat, race on the occasion of the peace celebrations.
