MONEY MARKET. The Bank of England discount rate, which had stood at 5 per cent, since April 5 1917 on which date it was reduced from 51 per cent., was raised to 6 per cent, on November 6. 1919. and to 7 por cent, on April 15. 1920. OPEN MARKET BATES. The open market rate for three bills is 63 per eeht.. as coninare d with 6?. per cent last week, and Last ye. . Short loans are Quoted at 5J per cent, as against 5J per cent, law weeK, ■and 49 per cent, last year.
