Wairoa, January 15.

The Wairoa County Gun Club's Clay Handicap took place yesterday on tho club's ground for a prize of 100 sove. There were 47 entries, composed of 21 double nominations add fivfe single. Tho following visiting shots were present:— Dobson (Auckland), Glennie (Gisborne), Forrest and Limbrick (Waipawa), and Boyd (Otane). The following five divide £lOO with 19 birds each out of a possible 21:—Glennie. Dobson, Brotherton. (Wairoa), Boyd, and Limbrick. The weather was good, and the light was excellent for shooting, which, on the average, was of a very high order. The attendance was small owing to the opposition carnival attractions.
