SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY

Miss M. Troon gave n concert to the seafarers in port at the Sailors’ Friend Society on Thursday. The performers were: Misses Anderson, Peterson, V. Mueller, Shand, Esau, E. Cooney, Mr. Woodman, and Master Toni George. Miss E. Cooney was nt the piano. The chairman, Mr. Moore, missioner, said the arrangements for the Anniversary Day picnic were well forward, and asked for gifts for tjhe big party expected. Competition prizes came from Miss Dalgleish, and Mr. R. M. Griffiths, and went to the Arawa and Port Melbourne.
