As a Barrow tramcar was approaching Furness Abbey terminus recently the driver fainted and fell on the platform. The car proceeded uncontrolled to. the end of the rails, and after going fifty yards further dashed into the wall. There were ilo passengers in All*- car. The driver was picked ui> insensible, but practically unhurt, and the conductor also escaped injury,
