Marngogipe, in Brazil, possesses a certain claim to fame. It was here, in 1870. that the Maragogipe coffee plant Was discovered. In certain parts of the v orld coffee produced by it is greatly favoured. New Zealanders, however, prefer that obtained from Stevenson’s Essence of Coffee and Chicory.
