THE TEACHERS’ MATCHES. (Rec. January 13, 9.55 p.m.) Sydney, January 13. The team of combined teachers of New South Wales, New Zealand, and Victoria against the combined second grade teachers in the first innings made 132 for two wickets. The match was dr,awn. [The second grade teachers made 4.4 in their first innings.] . The team of combined teachers playins against the combined third grade made •120 for nine wickets and won by a wicket and 330 runs—Press Assn.
N.Z. TEACHERS V. N.S.W. TEACHERS (Rec. January 14, 1.20 a.m.) Sydney, January 13. Tho New Zealand teachers commenced a return match against New booth Wales teachers at Manly The New Zealanders in the first innings made 129 (Donoghue 28, Moore 24).—Press Assn.
