Tokio, January 12. Lieutenant Langdou, an officer on the American cruiser Albany, was shot dead by a Japanese sentinel at V ladivostok on January 11. The reason is unknown, the Japanese Consul-General has ex P r^“ d regrets to the American Consul at V ancouver. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
