SHORTHAND EXAMINATIONS
The director of Gilby’s College has received from Sir Isaac Pitman and Sons, Limited, Melbourne, the results of a shorthand theory examination, held on November 18. Fourteen candidates were presented, all of them being successful in gaining certificates. The names of certificate winners are as follow, the first three being placed in order of merit:— Beatrice Sprpule. IV. A. Sutherland, -.ltiriel Stowell, Ethel Bird, Elsie M. Thirns Kathleen Caplin, Evelyn Chapman Rachael Fitz Gerald, Roma Gordon, Myra Hill, Lilian M. M’Lenaghin, Arolia Peacock, Doris Teague, Violet Walsh.
