BOLSHEVIK ARCH-CRIMINAL TERRIBLE STORY OF RAPINE AND SLAUGHTER, London, December 28. The bloodstained career of the Bolshevik arch-criminal Lienteuyi, ex-Presi-denti of the Soviet of Tsaritsyn, and formerly the terror of tho Lower Volga, for whoso head the Soviet is offering tor. million roubles, is related in a /Bolshevik official order published in tho "Pravda.." Lientenyi is said to have massacred 1500 persons, half of whom were women and children, during tho past three uiontha. After ho was expelled from Tsaritsyn, he, with a band of Kalmucks, seized a river steamer and proclaimed himself Astrakhan. He ravaged villages and slaughtered the inhabitants. Por example, in October ho killed all tho mon in. a village and earned off the women, who were kept ou tho sifeamer for three days, and then their throats were cut, and they were thrown into tho river. J.ientenyi and his fellow-ruffians, late in November, burned tho slleamer and started for the Caucasus with a hugo quantity of booty.—Reuter.
