The excavations taking place at Canterbury are proving successful. Tho skeleton of Abbot Itogor 11, who was buried in 1272, "has been disclosed, still partly robed, with a staff by his flido and a ri lift on a linger. Tho excavators feel certain that, thoy will iind tho tombs of King Eihel'bert and Queen Bertha, the first Christian King and Queen in Saxon Kngland.
