WELLINGTON RIFLE ASSOCIATION
The annual rifle meeting of the nbove association will take place at Tronthani on December 31 nnd January 1. The arrangements for this meeting are well in hand, and with fine weather a record entry is expected. Up to date, 105 competitors havo entered, and lailo entries are still 1 coming in. Thirty Cadct6 have also entered. Tho range officers for the meeting will be: Chief rango officer, Captain Davis, assisted by Major Gascoync, Lieutenant J. Thomson, and SergeantMnjor Laing. The trench will bB in the hands of Major Matherson and Mr. W. Cowan, and the pool target ;n charge of Sergennt-llajor C. King. Tho Cadet matches will be fired on Saturday, January 1, under Captain R. Renkin and his staff.
