Dean I,one's annual picnic, which for the pant thirty years has been the chief attraction at Lower Hntt on Hosing Day, proved one of tlio most successful yet lield. There was a. large, gathering, and tlio 6ports events, the entries ..tor which wero numerous, wore dispa'tfcb'ej in good time.

The cup and medal for competition between the I'elone and the Ixiwer Hntt schools were annexed by Kevin ll'Carthy, of Petonc.
