HEAT WAVE IN AUSTRALIA
i MANY DEATHS IN ADELAIDE. (Rec. December 27, 11.55 p.m.) Adelaide, December 27. During .the heat wave there were twenty-three deaths in the city, including twenty on Christmas Day. It is considered that half of them were due to the heat. Several cases of apoplexy have been reported.—Press Assn.
