CORK "EXAMINER" OFFICE RAIDED

Thirty disguised armed men raided tho office of the Cork "Examiner". and wrecked the printing presses with bombs, though they spared the linotypes. No arrests have been made.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. The raiders at the Cork "Examiner" office broke the machinery with liammars, and wrecked parts of the building with explosives, "i'hey then fired the property, and escaped before the arrival or vhe police. Tho fire was extinguished, but the otner damage was extensive. The raiders, who wore plaiu clothes, 6aid they were acting under the orders of the irish Republic. It is believed that the attack was caused by the "Kxaminorts" altitude towards the Bishop of Corks' recent pastoral letter—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assn. HOLIDAYS PASS QUIETLY, i London, December 26. The Irish Office has announced that a group of Sinn Feiners in Dublin fired on a group of unarmed military and wounded one.
